All customers domestic and construction will receive a full contract, consisting of five parts. All documents must be signed and dated by both parties where necessary and always by a cousins manager.
Part 1: the quotation
This will be the quotation for all the work that you have asked to be carried out by cousins GDC
Part 2: The confirmation
This is the confirmation contract that tells you and us when the work will be carried out, a full list of all the work to be carried out and the total price for all work. This is for both parties so that there can be no confusion of the particles of the contract.
Part 3: The invoice
A full invoice of the work, date and price. This will be given to you on the start of the contract and in some cases will state when stage payments are required, as some contracts over a set price will require stage payments. This will be discussed before the confirmation is given.
Part 4 the receipt
Part 5 the guarantee
Both receipt and the guaranty will be given when the contract has fully been completed, and only when all payments have been received and both parties have signed all documents. These documents confirm that all work has been carried out to both, the customer standards and the standards of Cousins GDC. The guaranty is only valid when accompanied by all other documents and have all been signed and dated by a Cousins GDC manager. For full deals of what the guaranty covers in respect to the work that has been carried out on your property, please ask your Cousins GDC contact for the relevant information.
